The day dawned with a coolness of the air, and bright blue skies, and that was just the kind of day we needed as we traveled into Houston at St. John the Divine, and there spring festival known as Seersucker Sunday. We served a record number of meals out of the truck. Over 500 meals in just over 2 hours. Gumbo and the salad with salmon were the two big hits, both of which were test kitchen items!
